The normal saliva glucose level range is about 90-110 uM or roughly 0.5–1.00 mg/dL. Studies have shown that patients whose saliva glucose levels are above 2.00 mg/dL may be at increased risk of having health conditions.

The Sugarbreak Saliva Glucose Tracker does not detect glucose levels that are below normal (90uM concentration) and is not suitable for Type 1 diabetic patients or patients using insulin to monitor low glucose.
